Pulled gas tank etc.
Today, I removed the gas tank and inspected the electrical components. I was happy to see that the igniter is present and found it to be a Ducati unit. I expected it to be a Motoplat igniter, since the bike was manufactured in January of '94. I still don't know what was supposed to connect to the 'extra' connector but am pleased that I'm not going to have to purchase an igniter (assuming the Ducati one is okay).
I also pulled both master cylinder covers and found both bone-dry. I tried to bleed the front brake system but it's master was leaking. I'll find out about rebuilds kits.

Purchased bike
I found this bike on Craigslist last night. Today I drove from Norman to Choctaw, Oklahoma to get it. Purchased with a bill of sale, I had to do a little quick research to figure out exactly what I had bought. I found this blog post: VIN decoding and figured-out that it is (as I suspected) a 1994 JT25, frame number 900. I am excited to get this bike smoking again!

| The previous owner, Harvey, was kind enough to pose for a picture with the bike. |
